WORKSHOP

Being rooted – connecting – letting go

A weekend dedicated to the body, mindfulness, dance and socialising

21 & 22 November 2026 | Lebensbaum Practice, Hart near Fürnitz

How well am I in touch with myself? What gives me a sense of stability? How do I experience closeness and personal boundaries? And what can I let go of in order to bring more lightness back into my life?

On this special weekend, we invite you to take some time for yourself, to become more aware of your body and to enjoy new experiences through connecting with others.

Featuring elements from Shiatsu, qigong, contemporary dance, dance improvisation and mindful bodywork We create a space for feeling, moving, experimenting, relaxing and taking a moment to pause. Through free movement and playful exercises, you can discover new ways of expressing yourself, trust your own perceptions and deepen your connection with yourself and others.

No prior knowledge required!

You don’t need to be particularly flexible, nor do you need any experience of dance or bodywork. It’s not about performing the steps perfectly or having to achieve anything. Just bring a sense of curiosity and a willingness to embrace new experiences.

Saturday, 21 November | 3.00 pm–6.00 pm

Arrival, Grounding and Encounter

We start with ourselves and discover how we can become more aware of our bodies, find our own centre and engage openly with other people.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Gently activate the body and tap along the meridians

  • Standing firmly rooted, finding stability and feeling your own centre

  • Connecting with your body through qigong and mindful movements

  • Developing your own perception through dance improvisation, mirror exercises and free movement exercises

  • Discovering one’s own movements and reacting spontaneously to music, space and other people

  • Exploring personal boundaries and comfortable closeness

  • Experiencing trust and mutual support through partner exercises

  • Time for reflection and sharing thoughts together

Our focus: To find yourself, discover your own vitality and approach encounters with an open mind.

Sunday, 22 November | 9.30 am–12.30 pm

Trust, movement and letting go

On the second day, we will build on our experiences. We will explore balance, support and the possibility of letting go, both physically and emotionally. In doing so, we will combine mindful bodywork with movement, dance and moments of stillness.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Finding your centre through gentle movements and qigong

  • Consciously experiencing balance, weight transfer and one’s own centre of gravity

  • Discover new ways of moving through free movement and dance improvisation

  • Try out partner exercises on trust, leaning on one another and mutual support

  • Find peace through a guided body scan

  • Discover the Metal element in Traditional Chinese Medicine and its connection to autumn and the concept of letting go

  • Experimenting with breath, voice and soft sounds

  • Round off the weekend with a group reflection

Our focus: Find your own balance, build confidence, accept support and take away fresh inspiration for everyday life.

What to expect

A varied weekend with Dance and improvisation, Shiatsu, Qi Gong, mindful movement and body awareness. You can look forward to individual and partner exercises, periods of free movement, moments of relaxation and time for discussion.

You are free to try everything at your own pace. There is no right or wrong, and no set sequences of movements that you have to master. Your personal boundaries will be respected. Physical contact and exercises with your eyes closed are optional.

It’s not about doing something particularly well or achieving a specific result. Rather, it’s about discovering what does you good, following your own instincts and learning how to cultivate a more conscious connection with yourself and others.
